Pallative Care
Palliative care is focused on providing relief from symptoms, pain and stress in any phase of a chronic or terminal illness. You can think of palliative care as an added layer of support.
Grief Support
We offer a wide range of grief counseling and grief support group options for children and adults to help them understand their feelings and thoughts, and increase their feelings of hopefulness.
The Elizabeth Hospice is a nonprofit hospice that provides medical, emotional and spiritual support to children and adults faced with the challenges associated with a life-limiting illness, and restores hope to grieving children and adults who are feeling lost and alone. Since 1978, our hospice, palliative care and grief support services have touched the lives of more than 125,000 people in San Diego County and Southwest Riverside County.
We are proud to have been earned the Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission, an independent not-for-profit organization that certifies and accredits healthcare institutions across the U.S. This certification demonstrates our commitment to quality comfort care and dedication to excellence.
