Hannia

Hannia’s dad died when she was only 14 years old. Her sadness was overwhelming. She just gave up. She stopped caring about school. Her grades dropped.

“I was in a deep hole. My friends and family didn’t know how to talk to me. I felt like I was all alone.”

Fortunately, Hannia found the help she needed at the Teen Grief Support Group from The Elizabeth Hospice. Here, Hannia connects with other kids who are experiencing similar struggles.

Teen Grief Support Groups are offered free of charge to all who are grieving, including families who do not have a patient affiliation with The Elizabeth Hospice. These groups are part of our comprehensive children’s bereavement program, the only one of its kind in our community.
