The goal is to improve quality of life for both the patient and their family.

About Palliative Care

Palliative Care is specialized medical care for people with chronic or serious illness, and is an integral part of the Elizabeth Hospice’s service. It focuses on providing patients with relief from the symptoms, pain, and stress of a serious illness—in any phase of a diagnosis, terminal or temporary.

Our palliative care experts work with you and your primary care physician to guide you through your choices and create a plan of care that meets your goals.

The Palliative Care Program

Medical consultation and as-needed return visits are provided by a specially trained palliative care team that includes a board-certified palliative care physician, nurse practitioner, and licensed clinical social worker.
