One of life’s greatest challenges is coping with the death of someone you love, especially when the loss occurs during early adulthood. But with guidance from bereavement specialists and the support of other young adults who share similar struggles, it is possible to find comfort and feel hopeful again.
All adults, ages 18 to 35, in the community who are grieving the death of a loved one are invited to attend our Young Grievers Support Group. Led by the grief counseling team with The Elizabeth Hospice, participants will:
• Gain a greater understanding of their grief experience • Reduce their feelings of loneliness, anxiety and distress • Learn new coping skills for processing grief • Meet other young adults who share similar life experiences • Receive valuable information and resources
This group meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 6:00pm to 7:30pm
