Reiki is a complementary health approach in which practitioners place their hands lightly on or just above a person, with the goal of directing energy to help facilitate the person’s own healing response. It’s based on an Eastern belief in an energy that supports the body’s innate or natural healing abilities.
The trainings will take place at 930 Canterbury Place, Escondido on Oct. 7 from 9am to 1pm and Oct. 19 4pm to 5:30pm. Space is limited. RSVP to volunteer@ehospice.org, or call 760.705.6736 by September 30.
Attendees must attended our Patient Care Volunteer Training in order to attend. No experience with Reiki is required for Level 1. Level 2 requires previous Reiki training, or participation in Level 1.
