Grief in Nature Support Group

November 13, 2026 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm PDT
Event Series (See All)

Grief can often be an isolating experience, accompanied by anxiety, depression and a sense of disconnection. A grief support group provides a safe space where people can connect. Bringing a support group into nature adds an additional layer of support. Research indicates that natural environments can reduce stress levels, anxiety, support emotional wellbeing, and improve mood. Nature invites us to slow down, breathe, engage our senses, and stay present in what’s happening around us, rather than getting lost in painful thoughts about the past or worries about the future. Nature supports healing.

MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT AND ABLE TO WALK SAFELY ON UNEVEN TERRAIN. Participants are strongly encouraged to attend all four sessions.
