Children’s Grief Awareness Day

The Elizabeth Hospice is partnering with Highmark Caring Place in creating a way for you to support children and teens in our community who are grieving the death of a loved one.

On Thursday, November 19, people across the country are encouraged to share HOPE the Butterfly. Just download and print the HOPE the Butterfly graphic and write or draw the name of the person you are supporting. Once you complete the page, post it in a window at home to show others that you stand with them in their grief. If you don’t access to a printer, you can still share a personalized message. Be sure to post your drawing on your social media with the hashtags #childgriefday #campspero #theelizabethhospice

The Elizabeth Hospice is here to help any child who is grieving the death of a loved one – every day, including during the pandemic. Our Children’s Bereavement Program is offered free of charge. For information about our children’s grief support services, call 760.737.2054.
