Clinical Counseling Internships

Our hospice clinical training program is open to developing clinicians interested in the field of grief, loss and transition.

 

You will have the opportunity to support the family system (adults, children, couples and families) before and after the patient’s death. Experiences include individual and family counseling in homes, care facilities or in an office setting, facilitation of grief groups on school campuses and in our children’s bereavement centers, children’s grief camp, workshops and community events. 

Associate Marriage Family Therapists, Associate Professional Clinical Counselors, Associate Social Workers, and Trainees who are able to volunteer with our hospice are encouraged to apply.

  • Opportunities throughout San Diego County and Southwest Riverside County

Students enrolled in graduate level psychology programs who are eligible for practicums may coordinate with their university for placement with The Elizabeth Hospice.
