Camp Erin® San Diego
Camp Erin San Diego is hosted by The Elizabeth Hospice. This free bereavement camp is for children and teens, ages 6 to 17, who have experienced the death of someone close to them.
At Camp Erin, kids honor and memorialize their loved one, meet friends who are facing similar circumstances, build coping skills, and have fun.
“Camp Erin helped me realize that if I cry it just makes me stronger, not weaker.” Victoria, age 15
“At camp I met a lot of people who experience the same stuff I do.” Rex, age 8
“This camp helped me so much. I usually comfort people in my family who are grieving so it was nice to grieve for myself. It was also really cool to create these really tight friendships so quickly,” said Lilly, age 14
“Camp Erin helped me find ways to express my grief and also ways to cope with grief. Camp helped me find ways to honor my loved one.” Colin, age 16
