Soroptimists International Vista Supports The Elizabeth Hospice On-Campus Counseling Program

Soroptimist International of Vista recently awarded The Elizabeth Hospice with a $1,000 contribution for its On-Campus Grief Counseling program.  The Center for Compassionate Care at The Elizabeth Hospice has provided on-campus grief and loss counseling support to more than 500 children and teens at no cost to local schools.  Soroptimists International of Vista has supported The Elizabeth Hospice since 1992.

Soroptimist International is a worldwide volunteer service organization for business and professional women, working to improve the lives of women and girls in local communities throughout the world.

The Elizabeth Hospice has a 34-year tradition as the premier provider of medical, emotional and spiritual support to the terminally ill and their families. Since opening its doors, The Elizabeth Hospice has provided services to more than 81,000 patients and families in northern San Diego County neighborhoods regardless of their ability to pay.
